About the event
Have you got a cupboard full of unwanted gifts?
Bring them down to the Islington Climate Centre and swap them for something else instead.
We’re looking for good quality UNUSED small items, including:
- Books,
- Cozy socks
- Unopened toiletries such as soaps and hand creams
- Unused candles
- Christmas jumpers and seasonal clothing
- Christmas decorations
- Small houseplants
- Mugs and teaware
A maker will be on hand to show us how to make Furoshiki wrapping cloths using spare fabric such as old curtains or bedding (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furoshiki).
