About the event
Discover how dominant narratives influence our brains and behaviors - and may prevent us from taking the action needed to address the climate and ecological emergency.
Book your ticket here.
Using a collaborative card game inspired by Climate Fresk, this workshop will reveal the current socio-cognitive processes that lock us into the status quo.
The objectives of the workshop are 1) To understand the socio-cognitive barriers that hinder the adoption of sober and sustainable behaviors 2) to collectively connect to your creative power to share new narratives around the world and 3) to rediscover hope in your ability to act to bring about a desirable future for all
What will happen in the workshop?
PART 1 - THE FRESCO: 1h30
The first part of the workshop consists in manipulating cards to better understand the socio-cognitive obstacles to transition. The process is based on theories of humanities and social sciences. You will discover why our brains don't always play alongside us and how micro and macro stories influence our behaviors and decisions.
PART II - THE STORY: 1h30
The second part is inspired by Design Fiction and consists of writing, in teams, narratives that call for a desirable future, compatible with planetary limits.
Workshop facilitator: Ambre Panhard
