STINKING RICH: The Cost of Wealth
A touring exhibition by Andrew Swan exploring the impact of extreme wealth on our environment and society and currently displayed in the Islington Climate Centre.
 
The show consists of seven free-standing ‘tomb cover’ panels, each 200cm high and 60cm wide, displaying the following seven billionaires and their activities in 2021:
Richest male in the world: Jeff Bezos (Amazon).
Richest female in the world: Alice Walton (Walmart).
Richest male in Great Britain: James Dyson (Dyson).
Richest female in Great Britain: Kirsten Rausing (Tetra Pak).
British male billionaire benefiting most from Covid: Jim Ratcliffe (Ineos).
British female billionaire benefiting most from Covid: Denise Coates (BET365).
The only billionaire to give away 100% of his wealth: Chuck Feeney (Duty Free).
